Who Are EDF?

EDF are a part of the Big 6 energy suppliers and is considered one of the largest suppliers in the UK. They are Britain’s biggest generator of zero-carbon electricity, supplying domestic, business, and commercial.

They are a part of Electricite de France, and they currently handle more than 5.7 million customers with around 13,000 members of staff. Being such a large supplier, EDF has also taken on the customers of other energy suppliers who had stopped trading, like Green Network Energy, iSupplyEnergy, Solarplicity, and many more.

EDF aims to contribute to the cut in UK carbon emissions to achieve net zero in the future by generating wind, nuclear, and solar energy.

If you were previously an Opus Energy business customer, your contract will be transferred over to EDF Energy by September 2024.
